i-LAN Technology Pty Ltd was formed in July 2007, taking over the trade name of DrayTek Australia from NBS/DDC Aust who started distribution of DrayTek products in 2002. Located in the suburb of Seven Hills in Sydney, we distribute our products through our network of distributors and resellers across Australia and New Zealand, and provide warehousing, sales and technical support services to corporate, business and residential customers.
Before and since the formation of DrayTek Australia in 2002, broadband technology has evolved in many ways. ADSL v1 has given way to ADSL v2 and v2+ with a maximum downstream/upstream capacity of 24Mbps/3.5Mbps, compare to 12Mbps/1Mbps for ADSL v1. Wireless LAN has moved from a maximum speed of 64Mbps in IEEE 802.11g to 300Mbps in IEEE 802.11n. Similar progresses have been made in VoIP, Firewall, QoS, bandwidth management, etc. In mobile communication, 3G has taken over from other technologies and becomes the mainstream offering for mobile and remote broadband services. Furthermore, multiple WAN is fast becoming the norm for businesses who rely on full reliability of their Internet accesses.
Amidst the technological development, DrayTek Corp has striven to pioneer products with features and functions well ahead of their competitors. Since their formation in 1997, DrayTek has given the market what they want: full set of protocols in VPN, more flexibility and add-on features in VoIP, Web Content Filtering and URL Filtering in addition to IP/data filtering of Firewall, multiple-WAN for reliable broadband connections, 3G connectivity, Virtual LAN, full security options for WLAN, All-in-One IP PBX, …, and so on.
In addition to providing advanced functions and features well ahead of the market, DrayTek also work diligently on improvements and additional functions for products that customers have bought, and provide these in the form of firmware for the users to download for free.
In keeping with DrayTek’s good work, DrayTek Australia ensures that we provide sufficient stock and timely logistics to serve the professional IT and residential communities with products that fit their applications and budgets. Furthermore, we support users of our products with inquiries in usage, fault clearing and applications, through emails, instant messaging, call centre, and technical forum, etc., with strong and prompt back-up support from our manufacturers when required. In this way, we ensure our customers gain the best possible value for money and time for their trust of DrayTek products.
In order to support our resellers and end users of our products, i-LAN TECHNOLOGY has recruited a talented team of experts in fields of networking, communications, video presentation and engineering project management.
